The dog involved in security in Sri Lanka is back in the United States



The heroine who has worked in Sri Lanka for six years has returned to America.

The German Shepherd dog named Shira-Yenki has completed her duty to work with the identification team in the Sri Lanka Engineering Division.

.Within this period, the dog has helped to identify large quantities of mines in the northern region. The dog has been helping to observe 62,680 meters long.

Sheera - Yenki and an officer of the force have been involved in searching for land mines in many areas including Mandavil, Anandapuram and Mullivaikal. The dog was found in various ammunition and explosives.

This dog, born on June 5, 2009, was brought to Sri Lanka on 24th June 2011.

The Military Bombs Observation Team has been incorporated since the training provided till December 12, 2011.

This dog, who has served a great service to Sri Lanka last Thursday returned to the United States with US Representative.
